Reflecting on the Relationships that continue to Shape our Industry
Last month, our very own Managing Director, Tharin Sethi represented SethiG at the Travel Daily Media (TDM) Global Summit 2026 at Amari Bangkok, a gathering that continues to hold a special place in our hospitality journey.
Our first TDM event was more than a decade ago when our family was operating the 81-key Euro Grande Hotel in Bangkok. At the time, we were focused on building distribution channels and forging relationships with DMCs, tour operators, and travel partners who played a critical role in driving occupancy. TDM provided exactly the platform we needed, bringing together the people, conversations, and opportunities that helped shape our network.
Many years later, much has changed. New faces have entered the industry, familiar ones remain, and the hospitality landscape continues to evolve. Yet what makes TDM unique has remained remarkably consistent: its ability to bring together hoteliers, tourism boards, DMCs, TMCs, OTAs, and travel professionals in one room.
That cross-sector mix remains just as valuable today as it was when we first attended.
At SethiG, we believe strong industries are built on strong relationships, and events like TDM continue to provide a platform for meaningful connections, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across the broader travel ecosystem.
Our thanks to Gary Marshall, Christopher Head, and the entire TDM team for continuing to create a forum that has remained relevant, valuable, and impactful for over a decade.
We look forward to the next one.
